Booking and dates

When can we get married at La Boscosa?

Bookings are open now. The earliest available wedding date is 1 September 2027, with dates open right through 2028.

Do you hold dates?

An enquiry does not hold a date. After you have viewed the venue, you can submit a request for your preferred date. If we can offer a provisional hold, we confirm it in writing along with the date it ends — seven days. A hold is not a booking: the booking is confirmed only when the Booking Agreement is signed and the $1,100 booking fee is received.

What days do you take weddings?

Monday to Saturday for full weddings, and Monday to Wednesday for The Intimate Wedding. Sundays are available when the following Monday is a Queensland public holiday. Anzac Day, Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Year's Day are unavailable.

You haven't opened yet. How do I know my wedding will run properly?

A fair question. The people behind La Boscosa have operated Rosewood Estate, a wedding venue in the Gold Coast hinterland, since 2019 — so this is a second property rather than a first attempt at running one. La Boscosa opens 1 September 2027, and the built precinct is on a construction schedule ahead of that date. Between signing and your day you get progress updates as the build hits its milestones, a site visit once the precinct is complete, and the same planning process every couple goes through.

Guests and capacity

What is the maximum guest count?

150 guests, cocktail or seated, on any day.

Is there a minimum guest count?

No. The venue fee is flat, so 80 guests costs the same as 150.

Can we bring children?

Yes. Children are welcome — please confirm numbers with us at booking.

Timing

What time does the wedding finish?

Sunday to Thursday, celebrations run to 10:00pm with guests departing by 10:30pm. Friday and Saturday, they run to 11:00pm with guests departing by midnight.

When can suppliers arrive?

Bump-in from 11:00am on the day. Your coordinator confirms the sequence with each supplier.

When does bump-out happen?

On the next permitted service day. Service vehicles may load and unload only 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Saturday — never on Sundays or public holidays — so after a Saturday or long-weekend wedding it cannot happen the next day. Later finishing times do not extend these hours. Your florist, caterer and hire company will build this into their quote and their handover.

Can we come earlier to get ready on site?

Not at this stage — La Boscosa has no getting-ready building. Couples generally get ready at their accommodation and arrive at the ceremony. Tewantin is fifteen minutes away and Noosa twenty-five, so this is a short trip. See Where to Stay.

Food and drink

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Yes. La Boscosa is a BYO wedding venue. You supply the wine, beer, spirits and anything else, and there is no corkage fee.

Who serves the bar?

Bar service is engaged by you, not supplied by us. You can book a bar service that brings its own RSA-accredited staff, or hire RSA-accredited staff directly. Any bar service at a private event in Queensland requires RSA accreditation, so this is not optional — but it is your choice of operator, and we take no commission. We publish operators we work with regularly on the Preferred Suppliers page.

Can we bring our own caterer?

Yes. Choose from our preferred list or nominate your own for our approval. We take no commission on catering.

What facilities are there for our caterer?

A dedicated preparation space for caterers and chefs, a cold room, service points and food-safe surfaces, all designed around third-party catering at 150 guests. Caterers bring their own hot equipment, which is how most of them prefer to work — what they need from us is room, power and cold storage, and they have all three.

Can we do a spit roast, fire pit cooking, or food vans?

Yes to all three, subject to fire-safety approval by us and adequate insurance from the operator. Raise these with your coordinator at planning.

Getting there and staying nearby

Where is La Boscosa?

658 Louis Bazzo Drive, Ringtail Creek, Queensland 4565.

How far is it from Noosa?

Twenty-five minutes from Hastings Street and twenty from Noosaville and the Noosa River. Fifteen minutes from Tewantin, twenty from Cooroy and ten from Pomona. Forty-five minutes from Sunshine Coast Airport.

Do we need a coach for our guests?

Yes, for weddings over 50 guests — a minimum of one coach is a condition of our Council approval. We publish a preferred operator list with indicative pricing on the Preferred Suppliers page. Guests may also drive; there are 55 marked spaces.

Is there parking?

55 marked car spaces, plus dedicated motorcycle, bicycle, coach and accessible bays.

Can guests stay on site?

No. Our Where to Stay page lists houses, boutique hotels and resorts from ten to twenty-five minutes away, from single rooms to whole houses for the bridal party.

The estate

How big is the property?

Two hundred and fifty acres.

Is La Boscosa a working farm?

Yes. Horses and macadamias. The wedding uses the built precinct on the ridge while the rest of the estate keeps operating.

Is there a lake?

Yes — a large spring-fed lake with pasture running down to the edge, fringed with reeds and native grasses. It is the most photographed part of the property, and the shoreline is the most requested ceremony location.

What happens if it rains on our ceremony?

There is an undercover ceremony structure, part of the construction, so your ceremony does not depend on the forecast. The Marquee also has full sides that close. We make the call with you and your coordinator on the day.

Are pets welcome?

By prior written permission — please ask before bringing any animal onto the property. Bear in mind this is a working horse farm.

Music, noise and the rules

When does music have to be inside?

Amplified music stays inside the Marquee. Acoustic music outside is fine through the afternoon and finishes by 6:00pm, when all music and entertainment moves indoors.

What time does music finish?

10:00pm, or 11:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Can we have fireworks or a laser display?

No. Sparkler send-offs are permitted outside structures only.

Can guests fly in by helicopter?

Helicopter arrivals are permitted in limited numbers each month, in daylight only. Helicopter access isn't included in any package and needs our written approval in advance.

Is there a noise limit?

The approved external limit is 39 dB(A) LAeq,adj,15min measured outside an off-site residence. That is a regulatory limit at the neighbour, not a setting on your DJ's desk. There is no universal indoor decibel limit; we run an on-site sound-level meter during every function, and we may ask for bass or volume to come down, equipment to be repositioned, or amplified sound to stop.

Will we hear another wedding?

No. There is only ever one wedding on the property, and the nearest neighbour is a long way past the far fence.

Payment, contracts and cancellation

How do we book?

Start with an enquiry, check availability and book a private viewing. After your viewing, you can request your preferred date. If we can offer a provisional hold, we confirm it in writing with the date it ends. Before you reserve, we give you the Council-approved Operational Management Plan that applies to the estate. We then send a personalised Booking Agreement and payment instructions. The booking is confirmed only when the agreement is signed and the $1,100 booking fee is received.

When are payments due?

The $1,100 booking fee is non-refundable and is credited towards your venue fee. The venue fee is then brought up to 25 percent at 12 months before your date, 50 percent at 6 months, 75 percent at 3 months and 100 percent at 30 days. The $1,100 security bond is separate and is also due 30 days before. Your Booking Agreement sets out the exact dates and amounts.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation terms are set out in your contract. Please read them before signing. We recommend wedding insurance for every couple.

Do you carry public liability insurance?

Yes, in respect of the venue and its operation. Your suppliers carry their own, and we require certificates from every supplier before bump-in.

Is there a bond?

Yes — a refundable $1,100 security bond, returned within 14 days after the event subject to venue inspection. It is separate from the $1,100 booking fee, which is credited towards your venue fee.

Price transparency

Are your prices GST-inclusive?

Yes. Every price on this website is the total price for that item, GST included.

Where can we read the operational rules?

Every couple receives our Operational Management Plan before booking. It sits alongside the contract.
