The estate
A working farm, and a lake.
Two hundred and fifty acres of working farm, orchard and lake, twenty-five minutes from Hastings Street. You get the whole property for the day, and nobody else is booked in.
The land
La Boscosa sits on Louis Bazzo Drive at Ringtail Creek, in the hinterland behind Noosa. Two hundred and fifty acres of pasture, macadamia orchard and remnant bushland, rising to a ridge that looks out over a spring-fed lake and south toward Mount Cooroy.
What the drive buys you. Twenty-five minutes is the difference between a function room and a landscape. It buys room for a hundred and fifty guests on a ridge above a lake. Out here you bring your own wine and your own caterer, and nobody takes a margin on either of them. Noosa keeps the crowd. You get the quiet, and the light coming down over the macadamias.
The estate is a working farm. Horses graze the front paddocks. The macadamias are harvested in autumn. The wedding uses the built precinct on the ridge, so the property never feels crowded at any guest count.
The macadamias were here first. The orchard is not landscaping. It is a working crop — mown between the rows, harvested in autumn, and the avenues it makes run long and straight under the canopy.
The built precinct
Four permanent elements on the ridge, purpose-designed for weddings.
The Marquee
300sqm. The reception heart of the estate. Lighting included, cold room, prep areas, and room for 150 guests seated with a dance floor.
The Undercover Ceremony Structure
A permanent, covered ceremony space. Your ceremony does not depend on the forecast.
Canapés Terrace
220sqm. Open-air arrival and canapés, looking out over the lake.
Cocktails Terrace
290sqm. The larger of the two terraces, and the natural pre-dinner gathering point as the light changes on the water.
Ceremony locations
Four, and you choose at planning.
- The lake shoreline, with the water behind you and the wide view across it
- The Cocktails Terrace, elevated, looking out over the lake
- Amongst the macadamias, in the orchard rows and dappled light
- The undercover ceremony structure, which is covered and works in rain
The team that runs Rosewood Estate
The team behind La Boscosa has run Rosewood Estate, a wedding venue in the Gold Coast hinterland, since 2019. The two properties are separate places with separate offerings — La Boscosa is its own estate, not a second Rosewood — but the people planning your day here have been running wedding days on a rural property for years.
That is what you are booking when you book a date before the gates open: a precinct still being built, and a team that has done this before. The build is on a schedule, the opening date is 1 September 2027, and every couple booking ahead of it is walked through where construction is up to as their date approaches.
